Whether that’s as simple as altering the length of your favourite pair of jeans or a bigger project like creating a special outfit to perform on stage in, we’re open to hearing it all! length alterations
Have a dress, skirt or pair of trousers that are too long? We can easily shorten them. Price depends on fabric and shape of the garment and we’ll have a discussion to ensure you’re completely happy with the end result and that they fit amazingly! Prices start from £8.
button replacement/repair
Simply need a button re-sewn onto a garment? Or looking for a lost button to be replaced? We’re happy to swiftly sew buttons on securely so that you can wear your garment again in no time. We’ll also direct you to our sewing ‘how to’ so you can learn to easily sew a button on yourself in the future if you’d like! Prices start from £5.
mending + strengthening
If you’ve loved your garment so much it’s beginning to fall apart, we may be able to help. We can strengthen and reinforce torn or fragile seams and holes and secure fraying hems. Give us a message, we’re up for the challenge! Prices really vary for this and are based on the level of damage and the time estimated to fix. Prices start from £10.
visible mending
Sometimes in order to mend an item, the mend has to be visible. However, we really think this doesn’t have to mean it can’t look great! We can explore ideas from patterned hand stitch to decorative patches to make your clothes last longer and add a new unique touch to your old garment. Prices start from £12.
upcycling your old garments
If you can’t bear to say goodbye to a garment which no longer fits, is too old and worn or that no longer serves a purpose in your wardrobe, we’ve got you. We can turn these garments into something new that you can continue to love! Whether you want a jumper turned into a knitted vest, a dress turned into a co-ord, an old shirt repurposed as a tote bag…we’re happy to get creative, drop us a message and we can see what we can do. Prices vary hugely but start from £15.
project consultation
Had an idea stuck in your head for a while but unsure how to make it happen? Want to commission a piece but don’t know who to turn to? We’re happy to chat about potential fashion & textile projects and ideas. No project is too big or too small and there’s no obligation to proceed onto payment following the chat. We’re open to everything and can't wait to see what you have in mind! Prices are project dependent.
